About Gabi Purespaces

I started my company in Aberdeen and Grampian because I’ve always believed that a truly clean space can change how you feel in it. Over time, that belief grew into a business built on care, high standards and the trust of the people I work with.

Why I started

When my children were young, keeping the space around them clean always gave me peace of mind. I loved knowing they could play, move around freely, and simply enjoy being there, and that feeling stayed with me. Over time, I realised that cleaning was never just about appearance for me. It was about helping create spaces that feel calmer, lighter and easier to live in.

How It Began

I began working as a housekeeper in 2008, and over time it felt like a natural step to build something of my own. In 2010, I started my business under the name Gabi Home Cleaning, with a simple goal: to help people who wanted a cleaner, more comfortable home but didn’t always have the time or ability to do it themselves.

How We've Grown

Like many businesses, lockdown brought a complete pause for a time and changed a lot for both clients and day-to-day work. Once restrictions lifted, the business began to grow again, and since then it has reached its strongest period of growth, with my son Arek joining in 2025 to help support the next stage.

I started on my own with one house, then another, and gradually the business grew through word of mouth. As more people recommended me, I brought in extra help and began building a team, while still working with some clients who have been with me for years.
